Fan shares smart idea to combat pricing of Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Ubisoft’s following inclusion to the Assassin’s Creed franchise – Mirage – is launching soon on October 5th. It will arrive on all present-generation consoles like Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

As noted by u/NoizeTank, getting a month of subscription to Ubisoft+ for USD 14.99 will be cheaper than buying the cheapest digital copy of Assassin’s Creed Mirage for USD 49.99.

This will be beneficial, especially for players looking to complete Assassin’s Creed Mirage within a month of launch. Given the small map size comparable to AC: Unity’s Paris and AC: Revelations’ Constantinople, completing the title in less than a month will not be difficult.

As promised by Ubisoft, with Mirage, they are returning to the roots with more emphasis on stealth and a gameplay system that rewards stealth. Parkour has also been revamped along with the map of 9th Century Baghdad “built for verticality.”

Most users agreed to this, saying that they would pay for Ubisoft Plus and get access to many titles instead of spending their hard-earned cash on one title.

A similar strategy was adopted by Starfield players, where getting the Xbox Game Pass was cheaper than buying a copy of Starfield straight up. With much hype surrounding the game, just like Starfield, Ubisoft is keen on ensuring the best possible gaming experience for the Assassin’s Creed community.

To ensure that fans have a spoiler-free experience, Ubisoft requested fans to prevent posting and sharing unmarked spoilers. A stray spoiler could ruin the experience for many fans, hence this measure.

This also hints that there will be quite a few unexpected plot twists, including the possible event wherein Basim, the protagonist, kills a fellow Assassin.

While this is all speculation, the wait is almost over. The live gameplay demo is currently on by Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, giving insight on what to expect when the game releases on October 5th.
