What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 releases on 2nd September 2021, will air on FX and on HULU the next day. The show promises new creatures – gargoyles and hounds and a return of a previous character with a season-long arc.
The teaser of What We Do In The Shadows season 3 did not disclose much but did make me chuckle! The vampires are decluttering their house and selling their stuff online. I must say they wouldn’t make great salespeople, and the bizarre items don’t make it easier for them to sell it either.
From a sex rock to an evil bucket, leftover bone, taxidermied armadillo, they’ve got the perfect collection.
But one interesting item to look out for was the witch’s cursed hat that Laszlo has been obsessed with. Will that cause more mayhem in their lives? I guess we just have to wait for a few weeks to find out!

What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 is slated to be 10 episodes long, just like the previous seasons. It premieres on FX on 2nd September and will be aired weekly. You can catch it on Hulu and Disney+ the next day.
Plot
Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger as we saw Guillermo, the vampire slayer, kill an entire theatre of vampires just so that he can save Nandor, Laszlo, Colin, and Nadja! All this before the three vampires whose jaws dropped. Now, on the one hand, they should thank him but, on the other, kill him for killing their kind.
Season 3 will explore this arc without wasting any time. I hope there’s no ‘bad blood’ between them! Besides this, the showrunners said that season 3 would also explore Nandor trying to find love. It shouldn’t be a human by any chance because she won’t be able to bear his love bites.
The showrunners also mentioned that creatures like gargoyles and hounds would make an appearance on the show. Though I’m not particularly a big fan of these creatures, I’m waiting to see how the writers give them a funny twist and make them hysterical to watch.
But wait, here’s the big announcement. Paul Simms and Stefani Robinson, the show’s producers, said that a previous character would be returning to the show. Now, they haven’t mentioned who it is, but they said it’s “someone we all know and love.” There’s a chance that this character might be from the film from which this show was born.
Cast And Characters
Season 3 will have the leading five – Nandor, Nadja, Laszlo, Colin, and Guillermo. The same actors will be reprising their roles, but we still don’t know the returning character and the actor playing it.
