Cameos that Made the She-Hulk Finale One of a Kind!

The originality of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finale is one-of-a-kind. The makers grabbed onto the concept of breaking the fourth wall and made it a thing. At one point, we see She-Hulk parkouring her way around the Disney Plus interface. Talk about quirkiness!

From Matt Murdock to The Abomination, many of our favorite superheroes had their cameos in the finale. Here is a break-down of all the cameos by various characters from the MCU in the finale.

Wong

Wong

She-Hulk has done a great job cementing Wong as one of the MVPs of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In her journey of getting accustomed to her new identity as She-Hulk, Jennifer handled several superhero clients, including Asgardian shape-shifters, demons, and Emil Blonsky (The Abomination).

Wong first appeared in the third episode, “The People VS. Emil Blonsky.” In the movie Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Wong faced off against Abomination, and that fight went viral. The rampant hooliganism of Abomination was enough to make life very difficult for Jen as his attorney.

Wong later took the help of Jennifer in suing Donny Blaze, a magician who was using his Sling ring for cheap magic tricks.

Wong’s ascendence to power has been a well-deserved event. Initially, he was just a glorified librarian at Kamar-Taj. But then, he was promoted to become the Sorcerer Supreme, which we learned in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In She-Hulk, Wong developed a fast friendship with one of the audience members of Blaze’s case, Madisynn, who was accidentally transported into his living room. They even binged The Sopranos together. We want to see this pair grow into something in season 2!

In the finale, Wong saved Abomination after the police arrested him for breaking parole. Wong entered Emil’s high-security prison through his iconic circular portal and took Abomination with him. So easy!

The Abomination

Emil Blonsky was a suspicious character throughout the first season of She-Hulk. The ginormous beast has been reduced to a comedic character for most of the series for good.

Abomination

In the series, we got to know that Wong got him out of jail because he needed to fight with a worthy opponent. But Abomination returned to his prison to serve his sentence later on. This worked in favor of Jennifer, who was trying to prove that he was not dangerous anymore.

We also understood that Abomination didn’t wish to be a supervillain anymore. All he wanted was to write haikus and be with his soulmates. He even wrote Bruce Banner a letter of apology.

Can we see Abomination joining the good side in future Marvel installments? (That would be interesting!)

In the finale, Abomination was taken back to prison as he broke his parole terms when he transformed back into Abomination but Wong rescued him and took Emil with him in the post-credits scene.

Daredevil

Although some fans might disagree, we think the romantic trope between She-Hulk and Matt Murdock is a step in the right direction. The penultimate episode of She-Hulk finally featured a track that fans wanted to see for a long time: She-Hulk finding love.

Daredevil

Jen had tried everything from online dating apps to real-life dates, but nothing had worked for her until she found her right match in Daredevil.

But Jennifer Walters finally found a person who loved her, both as She-Hulk and as Jennifer Walters. The actor returned to the MCU franchise in episode 8. He immediately hit it off with the titular character, finally knocking boots with She-Hulk at the end of the episode.

After breaking the fourth wall in the finale, Jennifer explained to K.E.V.I.N. that she would like to see Matt Murdock make an appearance in the finale.

Would not mind seeing Daredevil again. A woman has needs.

Jennifer Walters

The final scenes of the finale show Matt Murdock and Jennifer’s parents talking about Matt’s professional life as a lawyer, and things were taking a turn towards something very spicy!

Would they be a thing in season two? Can we see a superhero marriage? Season 2 will have all the answers for sure!

Bruce Banner

Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, had been in and around the periphery since the first episode. In the first episode, Jen was involved in a car accident with her cousin, Bruce. During the accident, some of The Hulk’s blood got into Jennifer’s system, after which she developed superpowers like her cousin.

We also learned in the initial stages of the season that She: Hulk is infinitely more capable than Hulk when it comes to controlling her alter-ego.

In the finale, we were introduced to a new character in the MCU, Hulk’s Son Skaar. The Hulks have grown into a big and sweet family, haven’t they?

We just need one or two more car accidents, and Jen’s parents might not need her help moving the furniture anymore!
