Endo and Kobayashi Live! Ep 4: Release Date, Speculation, Discussion

Episode 3 of Endo and Kobayashi’s Live! The Latest on the Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte, titled “The Ribbon, the Upperclassman, and Feelings of Love”, shows more tsundere moments from Lieselotte. Endo remembers his sad past with baseball and how grateful he has ever been to Kobayashi for helping and consoling him. 

Liese once again misunderstands Fienne’s intentions, but the situation is solved, and Sieg again realizes how cute his fiancée is. Liese and Fienne also grow closer, and Bal unknowingly reveals his feelings for Fienne. The commentators promise to save Liese from the Witch of Yore.

Episode 4 Speculation

The next episode is titled “The Summer, Going Home, and Missing You”. Summer vacation will start at the Royal Academy and the students will start preparing to head home. Since Fienne’s home circumstances are unexplained, the episode will probably dive more into her past and Liese will try to help her again.

Due to his feelings towards Liese, Sieg may get sad that he won’t be able to see Liese during the holidays. Being a crown prince, he, no doubt, has duties to see to. But for once, he will try to prioritize his feelings for Liese and may go to the Reifenstahl duchy to see her, which will bring out her tsundere nature again.

Episode 3 Recap

After playing Magikoi, Endo and Kobayashi watch a baseball match, and Endo remembers how much he liked baseball. However, a shoulder injury prevented him from playing it further, which plunged him into depression.

While deciding on players for the sports’ festival, Endo’s classmates try to get him to join softball, not knowing why he left the baseball team. He is unable to explain, and Kobayashi steps in and tells everyone that he is part of the broadcasting club and, thus, he will be busy with her during the festival.

While going back home, Endo thanks Kobayashi for rescuing him. She tells him that he can always use his knowledge in some other field, like a sports castor, even if he is not a player anymore. Hearing her words, a heavy weight is lifted off his chest, and he begins crying while she consoles him.

Watching the baseball match, Endo starts crying again and thanks Kobayashi for helping him when he thought his life was over, and she consoles him again. After he feels better, Kobayashi tells him that she can no longer load or save the game without him, which means they only have one chance to save everyone. They both determinedly declare that they will save everyone.

In Magikoi, the upperclassmen teach the underclassmen about magic during a class outside. Sieg and Liese notice Art trying to hide Fienne, and Liese realizes it is because of the ribbon she has tied to her wand.

Liese gets incredibly mad and inquires Fienne why she has a gold ribbon, similar to the color of Sieg’s eyes, which usually signifies the wand owner’s affection towards the person with the same color. She suspects Sieg of giving the ribbon to her.

Sieg is shocked that he will be accused of something like that.  Fienne is flustered and hastily explains that she got the ribbon from Liese herself as it was tied on some notebooks Liese gave her earlier, and she was just copying everyone. Liese calms down and realizes that it’s true. Kobayashi tells Sieg that Liese has been giving Fienne new notebooks and other things to help her.

Liese gets embarrassed and tells Fienne to pay more attention to her surroundings. Kobayashi directs Sieg’s attention towards Liese’s wand ribbon, which is embroidered in his colors. Sieg asks her who did such fine embroidery on the ribbon and she embarrassingly tells him it was her. Sieg asks for a ribbon in Liese’s colors, and she runs away in embarrasment after accepting his order.

Sieg is happy when he realizes that Fienne and others are starting to understand Liese’s cuteness and tsundere nature as well.

Fienne and Bal go to the forest to catch and hunt some monsters. Bal tells Fienne about his sword, a Riefenstahl heirloom given to him as he is supposed to marry into Liese’s family with one of her sisters. But, since he grew up with them and considers them sisters as well, he is worried about it. Fienne tells him to cheer up and release some stress by hunting.

After hunting some small monsters, a big monster attacks Fienne and Bal, and he rushes to protect her. Fienne gets a weird memory of her crying with a dead Bal in her arms. She puts a strengthening spell on Bal, and he defeats the monster.

Fienne gets angry at him for rushing towards the monster when she is stronger than him and can heal herself. She tells him that she doesn’t want to see him die “again” and is surprised by her own words. Baldur tells her that the reason he is weaker than her is that he cannot wield his sword against her since he finds her the loveliest person in the world.

Bal doesn’t realize the weight of his words, and Fienne runs away, flustered, while angrily cursing Bal.

While embroidering the ribbon, Liese tries to tell herself that Sieg did everything out of a sense of duty and not to get attached to his words. The commentators get frustrated due to her misunderstanding. Since Liese’s insecurity is due to the Witch of Yore, the duo decides to save her at any cost.

Meanwhile, Kirise, the mysterious actor, throws a controller while angrily questioning why he can’t connect to the world, with Magikoi playing on his computer.

Endo and Kobayashi just want to do commentary on a popular game. However, while they do so, they realize that a character can actually hear them and interpret them as a word from god. The two continue to do commentary, helping the character to understand the feelings of the villainess, who they believe is misunderstood and is actually a tsundere.
