The baseball manga ‘Bōkyaku Battery’ follows Haruka, a strong pitcher praised as perfect, and Kei, a skilled catcher known as the ‘General,’ who lost his memory due to amnesia. The talented pair were hard to defeat in junior high, and they crushed other players’ dreams.
They both enroll at the no-name Kotesashi High School in Tokyo, where they encounter other baseball players who quit after losing to Haruka and Kei.
On Wednesday, It was announced that Eko Mikawa’s Bōkyaku Battery baseball manga will receive a television anime adaptation featuring Toshiki Masuda as the protagonist Haruka Kiyomine and Mamoru Miyano as his baseball buddy Kei Kaname.
Along with the announcement, a teaser visual showcasing the two boys in school outfits with baseball gloves on was also released.
Unfortunately, no more relevant or interesting information on the ‘Boukyaku Battery’ television anime adaptation has been released at the time. Fans may, however, expect the series to reveal more significant news in the following weeks or months.
Fans can expect the series to debut in the 2024 anime season at the latest. Given that development seems to have already started, the series’ release date is more likely to be in the Winter 2024 or Spring 2024 anime seasons.
