Rebecca and Shiki continue their adventures in episode 1 of Edens Zero season 2, titled “Belial Gore.”
The adventures never end as the Eden’s Zero team gets minimal time to rest and relax before they encounter another hostile enemy to take on. However, their upper hand is quickly flipped around before they even realize it.
A counter-invasion of the ship leads to two battles that will soon be fought as the group is split up into two locations, and both of them must be won at all costs to protect the ship.

The invaders of the ship will likely soon face Homura and Rebecca in battle, and she will finally be able to get used to her powers and prove her position as a Star within the group.
Shiki may also find Drakken Joe to stop it at the source and get something out of it. However, the fight will not go so smoothly since his enemy, this time, is a bigwig in the underworld.

The episode begins with the narrator of the universe giving the viewer a quick recap of season 1, Shiki’s adventures, and all the people he has encountered, friend and foe—Rebecca and Happy’s relation with Shiki, as well as the influence of the Mother.
Upon Belial Gore, Rebecca tells the story of her speed and brings mixed reactions from Shiki and the rest of the group. Meanwhile, Homura inquires about the goal of a Star and is given a threatening yet vague answer about being an absolute servant of the Lord.
Etherion is also revealed, which can only be activated with all four stars, which are meant to be kept an absolute secret even from the Demon Lord. Since Homura is bad at keeping secrets, she abstains for now.
Rebecca and Happy relax after the battle and take a quick bath. She recalls everything during the battle, including the difference in Shiki’s movement and traits as he quickly and efficiently took out entire fleets of army robots.
She passed out during the bath and saw a vision of a world where Happy was dead. An unknown ship was found to be following the boat, and Shiki decided to go take It on and infiltrate the ship and immediately term them hostile.
Rebecca gets ready and runs to join them in the battle; intel shows that the entire ship has a city, where they easily blend in among the crowd. They also find the owner of the boat, a bigwig in the underground gangs who also holds a lot of power, Drakken Joe.
They roam around the city and take part of all its attractions, and realize that they can’t attack the city because of the number of civilians on the ship and get into a debate because all the residents are criminals anyway, and even find people that they were directly involved with arresting but in another timeline.
Drakken Joe directly calls out Eden’s Zero group, and all the alarms are sounded immediately, and the entire city is also made aware of the intruders. They manage to counter-invade their ship as the crew inside prepares to take on their battle to protect the boat.
