In last week’s episode, Cristal is back to her regular life after finally escaping the clutches of Rita and Beto and their evil plan to steal Flores. She keeps telling Blake she doesn’t want to talk about her time being held captive and put the whole thing behind her but it’s clear the incident left a mark on her. She finally admits to Blake that Rita had planted self-doubt in her since no one seemed to realize the real Cristal had been missing for weeks. Fallon finds out that someone is trying to mess with her newly acquired company, Morell.

Jeff had his suspicions that there was some extent of foul play involved in the toxic waste spill accident of their company. He turned out to be right and had a private investigator tail Linda, only to find the VP who was supposedly homesick, gave her the instructions that caused the ‘accident.’ Why is Fallon’s VP trying to sabotage the company? Who could really be behind this?
Sam and Blake make up and Blake acknowledges he was feeling threatened by Daniel because he had started to think of himself as Sam’s father. Sam reassures Blake that he’ll always be a father figure to him and the two decide to make amends with Daniel. Sam stumbles upon Daniel injecting himself with a needle. Is Daniel a drug addict, too? Liam is in the middle of casting for his book movie and asks Fallon for a big favor—the actress who is his first choice wants to ‘shadow’ Fallon for 48 hours before she makes the decision on whether or not she wants to take up the role of ‘Farrah.’ Blake calls a family meeting under the guise of discussing his airlines, but he really just wanted to tell everyone the truth about Cristal having been held captive for the past couple of weeks.
Kirby’s new agent gets her a shampoo commercial and she’s excited about this new opportunity. Meanwhile, Jeff tells Fallon about the toxic waste disposal mishap that could potentially be a PR nightmare for Morell. To make matters worse, if Janelle finds out about it, she might turn down Liam’s movie as she’s serious about her own part in environmental causes.
Blake has a chat with Sam about his biological father. He’s suspicious because he saw Daniel peering into Sam’s bag and didn’t have an explanation when Blake confronted him. Sam reassures Blake that there’s nothing to worry about and he just needs to try to get to know Daniel. Blake and Daniel get into an argument the next day when Blake accuses Daniel of being a conman who is only after Sam’s money.
