Dragon Quest, the grandad of action RPG and shonen anime, made quite a splash in 2020 with the reboot of one of its most beloved tales, “The Adventures of Dai.”
Now, as the anime series moves into its final stage, Dai and his parties have finally departed to the Kingdom of Carl for the decisive battle against the Dark Lord’s Army. With the endgame soon upon us, the animation team has finally decided to give Dragon Quest the much-needed facelift with a new visual and song.
On Sunday, the official website for Riku Sanjo and Koji Inada’s “Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai” announced that Japanese singer Taichi Mukai would perform the anime’s new opening theme titled “Bravest.”
The site also revealed new key visuals featuring the main characters.

Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.
The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.
The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
