Episode 77 Speculations

Crocodine, Lon Beruk, and Nova will fight the zombie monster in episode 77 of Dragon Quest, titled “The Other Hero.”

Looking at the preview, it can be said that this monster is no minor deal, as even after getting stabbed with so many blades, it is still standing tall without any sign of pain or wound.

Everything has turned upside down for our heroes, but it is time for Nova to shine as he will make the ultimate sacrifice to defeat the zombie. Our heroes are always hiding a secret technique or two to deal with any and all threats that they face. Let’s see what he is going to do.

Episode 76 Recap

Avan opens the door to the palace easily. They all rush in there. Avan turns around, bows to Hyunckel, and moves ahead.

Hyunckel is relieved that they now have a father figure who will guide the others. He then unleashes his full power and starts annihilating the monsters.

Avan tells them that the palace forms a single path whenever someone invades it. The palace can be ambushed from either side, but the problem is, how are they going to defeat the enemies in their way?

Popp is exhausted because of all the fighting and running and is in immediate need of rest. Avan also thinks that they need some rest, so he decides to rest inside the palace. He lays down his food and utensils and tells Popp, Maam, and Dai to rest while he moves ahead to defeat the enemies.

Avan pokes Popp with a feather that restores all his magic power. The feather he used is called Silver Feather of Healing. He gives some of them to Maam to use for Dai and herself.

He gets ready to move ahead and get rid of all the traps ahead, but he wants Leona to accompany him. Later, he gives Leona a box full of silver and gold feathers as he thinks that she is the only one who can take his place after he is gone.

On the surface, Zaboera and his army are losing the fight against Crocodine. Zaboera thinks of using Mystvearn to get away from the place. He tells Mystvearn to keep fighting while he goes and helps king Vearn with his fight against Dai.

Mystvearn mocks Zaboera telling him that his manipulation and cunningness won’t work on him. He will go back to the palace to help king Vearn while Zaboera is going to stay and fight the enemies. Before leaving, he compliments Lon Beruk for fighting on par with him (although he didn’t use his full power).

Zaboera is now cornered, but he is not ready to give up. He collects all of the half-dead monsters and starts super being synthesis, making a giant monster out of them. This monster is called Supreme Being Zombie.

Lon Beruk immediately attacks it with his sword but his sword breaks without even putting a scratch on the beast.

Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.

The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.

The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
