Dragon Quest Episode 101 Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Dai’s adventure finally ended in episode 100 of Dragon Quest, titled “Farewell, This World that I Love.”

The anime ended on a high note. All the departments, from music to animation, delivered their best. Dai made the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the surface world.

It was a heartfelt goodbye. Popp played his part in motivating Dai even though he wasn’t there on the battlefield. However, his wish to die with Dai wasn’t fulfilled.

Episode 100 Recap

Dai and Vearn continue their battle. Vearn overpowers Dai, not giving him any chance to counterattack. Dai wishes to have his sword with him. Vearn stabs Dai and slams him on the ground.

He is not ready to take any risk and decides to cut Dai into pieces. Suddenly, the Demon Dragon Blade appears out of nowhere with a flash of blue light. The blade was lost when Baran died.

The sun shows up, and Dai sees a glimpse of his mother. He is surprised to see the dragon blade. His father tells him it is time for Dai to wield the sword. He tells Dai that it is time for him to become the sun and save the surface world.

Baran tells him that he needs to target the Sovereign Eye. He gets up and rushes for Vearn. After much struggle, the sword breaks. Vearn catches Dai and squeezes him hard.

Dai is then reminded of what Popp said about keeping on with the struggle. He breaks free of Vearn’s hold and rushes away from Vearn. He flashes his dragon symbol, rushes towards Vearn, grabs the sword that is stuck in Vearn’s chest and slices him up in half, finally killing him.

Everyone on the surface world notices Dai falling down. Popp rapidly moves ahead to catch him. Dai wakes up. Popp is happy to have him back. Everyone is elated that they have won.

However, their happiness doesn’t last long as Killvearn shows up out of nowhere. Avan thinks that he is really immortal. However, he is not a living creature. He is just someone controlled by someone else. It is revealed that Piroro is the real Killvearn.

Killvearn reveals a black core hidden inside the puppet’s head. This core won’t get destroyed by ice-type spells. As Killvearn is about to leave, Avan and Maam attack him while Dai and Popp grab the puppet and fly above the surface world.

Dai kicks Popp away, flying away with the puppet alone. The timer goes off, creating a huge explosion. Even after weeks of searching all parts of the world, they still can’t find Dai.

His friends have situated Dai’s sword at the end of the shore to let Dai know where they are. Leone reveals that Dai is alive as the jewel on the sword is still intact.

Popp doesn’t care where he is because as long as he is alive, he will come to meet them. They will protect the world till he is back and show him the perfect world they all have made together.

Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.

The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.

The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
