Chapter 89 of Dragon Ball Super was a nice and refreshing chapter because it provided a welcome break from the dark and gloomy super villains. It brought a lighthearted and fun atmosphere to the series. Trunks was jealous because Mai was impressed by the new transfer student.
The chapter also brought back a lot of memories of kids who had a crush in their class and would do anything to get their attention and would get jealous if they talked to someone else.
But as our heroes enjoy their high school life, there also remains a threat that is circling over their heads. Dr. Hedo has vowed to make better and stronger androids to defeat Trunks and Goten.

The Super Hero Saga unfolds in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 89, as Dr. Hedo raises his game against Trunks and Goten. This time, the scheming scientist dispatches a new robot named Baytah to hunt down the young Saiyans. Hedo looks to be working his way through the Greek alphabet, and supporters know he’ll ultimately arrive at Gamma 1 and 2.
When Baytah appears as a freshman at Blue Hal High School, Mai, and Rulah are immediately taken with him. Trunks is naturally envious of Mai’s enthusiasm for their new classmate.
The two boys enjoy a superpowered basketball game, reminiscent of Gohan using his talents while playing baseball in high school. Then there are a few amusing comedic situations in which Baytah tries and fails miserably to scare Trunks at school.
This chapter is filled with jokes and comedy. Goten channeled his father by effortlessly scooping up a vehicle, completely unaware of how startling this is to observers. Dr. Hedo believes that Goten overcame his Alpha series androids after seeing him unleash his extraordinary power.
Baytah exposes his true name, Beta No. 1, dresses up, and fights Goten, who is unimpressed with Baytah’s costume. Trunks intervenes to defend his closest buddy, resulting in a brawl in front of the entire school.
Beta 1 transforms into a “Battle Jacket,” a mechanical suit named Beta No. 2 that resembles the Red Ribbon Army suits from the original Dragon Ball. Goten, as Saiyaman X-2, easily defeats Beta No. 2, however, Beta 1 escapes. Dr. Hedo promises to construct stronger androids to recover his stolen disc, with his sights set on Mai and the two heroes.
