With how innovative and unpredictable the plot of ”Money Heist” has been throughout the seasons, the audience was pretty sure that none of their favorite characters would be safe in the final outing of the Spanish series.

1. Was the Professor ever arrested in Money Heist?

Inspector Alicia Sierra technically captures the Professor in the final season. He endures the torture and faces her wrath. However, The Professor outsmarted the system with his exceptional planning and cunning move, making Sierra join him instead.

This led to his successful escape and reunion with his team. Against all odds, they achieved their ultimate goal and broke free.

Despite revealing his identity to the authorities, the Professor is hailed as a heroic figure by the public. He becomes a beacon of defiance and evades punishment, earning the admiration of many.

2. How did the Professor manage to get away?

It doesn’t look suitable for the Professor in the early episodes of season 5 as Sierra attempts to extract information about his plans for the ongoing heist.

The Professor reveals nothing even when Sierra shoots him in the foot.

Eventually, the pair are joined by Benjamin and Marseille, but despite their more significant numbers, Sierra manages to subdue them all and holds them all prisoner. That is until her water breaks, and she goes into labor.

Still, when she has a moment alone in the bathroom, she readies herself for a potential fight and escapes to come in season 5, part 2, as the Professor turns his attention back to the chaotic heist in progress.

During the latter part of season 5, which debuted on December 3rd, Alicia Sierra attempts to break free. However, the Professor manages to keep pace with her, having traced the car she fled in.

The tenuous bond between them is challenged once more as they become targets of Colonel Tamayo’s troops. What begins as a reluctant alliance evolves into a symbiotic friendship as the two learn to trust and rely on each other as the story progresses.

With the bank heist looming, the Professor’s plan climaxes as he puts himself at risk by infiltrating the bank and confronting Tamayo.

This puts the colonel in a frenzy to eliminate the Professor and his team, but Sergio’s tactic of negotiating with Tamayo proves successful, allowing the team to escape unscathed. As the season draws to a close, the gang members part ways, bidding each other goodbye.
