Dinseyland is going to offer an outrageously large sandwich for $100, at the upcoming Avengers-themed park to incorporate more Marvel brand into theme park.
Disneyland, located in Anaheim, California, had plans to open the new Marvel-themed expansion last July, but those plans were delayed because of the pandemic.
Disneyland’s new Avengers Campus expansion will replace the former Bug’s Land area of the park that was based on Pixar’s 1998 film, A Bug’s Life.It will feature a Spider-Man themed attraction that uses new technology, as well as a Guardians of the Galaxy themed attraction.
The sandwich is called the “Quantum-sized Pym-ini Sandwich,” a clear play on the name of (and recipe) of a standard panini sandwich. Inspired by the “Pym Particles” used to alter physics in Ant–Man, the massive sandwich is intended to be shared between six to eight people.
According to Disney, it contains salami, rosemary ham, provolone cheese, and sun-dried tomato spread on toasted focaccia, served with marinara dipping sauce and arugula salad.
The sandwich will be served with marinara sauce for dipping and an arugula salad. There will be a regular-sized single portion serving available for $14.50.
The restaurant, named after Hank Pym from the Ant–Man franchise, whose Pym Particles can drastically change the size of matter (thus, creating the Ant-Man suit), will serve foods of outlandish sizes.
Menu items include a gigantic plant-based meatball in a large spoon, a chicken sandwich with a small bun and humungous patty, and a Caesar salad with a single, huge crouton. All of food options will be available when the Pym Test Kitchen opens along with the Avengers Campus on June 4.

Superheroes don’t normally open restaurants, but what they would do is use their technology to help the world. In our story, they are using their shrinking and growing technology to create new innovations in food science because, of course, you can feed more people if you can run a normal sized pretzel through this quantum tunnel machine, hit it with some Pym particles and make it grow to a giant size.

The opening of the Avengers Campus is another sign of the world seeking to regain some level of normalcy. However, restrictions still apply, such as the need to book a theme park reservation, which are currently only open to California residents and in groups no larger than three households.
