Disillusioned Adventurers Anime Releases Character PV For Nick
On December 20, the official website for the television anime adaptation Shinta Fuji’s Apparently Disillusioned Adventures Will Save the World light novel series released a character video for the character Nick.
The series will air on the Tokyo MX channel on January 10, 2023. It was later air on BS11, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV.
The anime stars Yusuke Kobayashi as Nick, Sayumi Watabe as Tiana, Sayaka Kikuchi as Curran, Shunichi Toki as Zem, Mikako Komatsu as Kizuna, and Kaori Ishihara as Agate.
The show’s opening theme song “Glorious World,” is performed by Toki, the voice actor for Zem. The show’s ending theme song “Never Fear” is performed by Mao Abe.
The anime is directed by Itsuki Imazaki, who will also be overseeing the series scripts, at Studio Geek Toys with animation cooperation by Seven. Hiroo Nagao is set to be the character designer and chief animation director, with Ryo Takahashi serving as the music composer.
The plot of the anime revolves around a veteran adventurer named Nick, whose life is falling apart. Despite all the knowledge and expertise Nick devotes to his adventure party, he is kicked out of the group by his leader. Subsequently, his girlfriend dumps him, and his teammates falsely accuse him of embezzlement.
Trying to escape from all that is going wrong in his life, Nick chances upon a few kindred spirits who are as exhausted and jaded as he is. Along with these disillusioned adventurers, he forms an unstoppable team, who are all out to save their bleak and depressing worlds.
The light novels were launched on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in January 2019 and the last update was in September 2020.

Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World is a fantasy light novel series written by Shinta Fuji and illustrated by Susumu Kuroi. It began serialization online in January 2019 and is being published as a light novel since September 2019 by Media Factory.
It follows the adventures of Nick, a veteran adventurer betrayed by his party, Tiana, a former noble turned commoner, Curran, a dragon warrior, and Zem, a former priest. These depressed and betrayed people with similar pasts form a party of their own to support their guilty pleasures.
