Digimon Ghost Game Episode 60: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Tonosamagekomon sets out in search of his Jiraiya in episode 59 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “Jiraiya.”

It was a generic episode with the usual tropes. However, Gulusgammamon made yet another epic appearance and stole all the limelight. He always shows up and indicates something big and dangerous that will happen in a matter of time.

We hoped for Jellymon to shine in this episode and get some new kind of evolution, but that didn’t happen. That is quite disappointing, but what can be done now anyways?

Here are the latest updates.

Hiro and Ruri start searching for the ghost and Kiyo. Espimon finds Kiyo, but the ghost shoves him away. Angoramon and Ruri find Kiyo, and the ghost in question is revealed to be Tonosamagekomon (Damn! That’s a long name!).

Ruri and Hiro find Tonosamagekomon. However, they are too late as Kiyo gets absorbed inside the Digimon. Tonosamagekomon gets angry, and Canoweissmon and Lamortmon get ready to engage him in battle.

They battle the villain, but in fear of killing Kiyo and the rest of the humans trapped, they hold back. Suddenly, Canoweissmon and Lamortmon hit their time limit and returned back to normal.

Tonosamagekomon brutally attacks Gammamon, and this forces Gammamon to evolve into Gulusgammamon.

Tonosamagekomon stands no chance in front of Gulusgammaon. Gulus offers Hiro to sync with him, and in return, he will bring back Kiyo safely. Hiro refuses. Gulusgammaon is about to destroy Tonosamagekomon, but Gekomon, his subordinate, interferes and returns everyone back to normal.

Gulusgammaon leaves. Everyone encourages Gekomon to become Tonosamagekomon’s Jiraiya. Meru, the girl who was with Kiyo, offers them to live with her.

About Digimon

Digimon, short for “Digital Monsters,” is a Japanese media franchise offering toy pets, manga, anime, games, films, and even a trading card game. The franchise was created back in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, influenced by Tamagotchi/nano Giga Pet toys.

The franchise gained momentum with its first anime, Digimon Adventure, and an early video game, Digimon World, both of which were released in 1999.

Digimon, the series focuses on monsters like creatures, who inhabit a “Digital World,” a parallel universe that originated from Earth’s various communication networks. Digimon hatch from eggs called Digi-Eggs, and they go through Digivolution, which changes their appearance and increases their powers over time.

The effect of Digivolution, however, is not permanent. Digimon who have digivolved will find most of the time revert back to their previous form after a battle or if they are too weak to continue. Most of them can even speak.
