We meet the cute and dangerous Picklemon in episode 19 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “The Witching Hour.”
Picklemon gave one hell of trouble to our protagonists. She sent Hiro and Ruri to a different dimension altogether. In this world, evil shadows take over the original body. Picklemon’s power was one of the most exciting things about the episode.
Gammamon rocked again and made us fall in love with him again because of his innocence and love for Hiro.
Although the anime is getting repetitive with the evolution and similar plot in every episode, it still grabs our attention and gives us some good time.

Episode 20 Speculations
Our protagonists will get trapped in a treacherous theme park in episode 20 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “The Prison of Fire.”
The next episode will be very similar to the previous one, where this time, our protagonists will get trapped in a theme park-based world and have to fight for their lives.
From what we saw in the preview, the Digimons age quickly in the theme park as we see Jellymon and Gammamon getting old.
We also saw a hand getting obliterated, but we don’t know whose hand it is. Kiyo is in trouble again, and it’s on Hiro to save him.
Fans are speculating it is Saberdramon this time so let’s wait and see what the anime has in store for us in the next episode.

Episode 19 Recap
The episode starts with a man hearing a childish voice from the sky and suddenly disappearing. Gammamon is getting ready to go on his first errand alone.
Hiro gives him clear instructions about what to do and how to do it (like a father instructing his child).
Hiro tells Gammamon to call out his name if he faces any problem. Gammamon flies towards the shop, with Hiro following him secretly.
Ruri and Angoramon are walking down the street in the evening. Angoramon starts to talk about the witching hour when suddenly Ruri starts to hear some voice calling her out, and she suddenly disappears.
Kiyo and Jellymon are also following Gammamon in the hopes of helping him and making Hiro owe them for the help.
Meanwhile, Hiro too starts to hear the same voice and disappears. Ruri is transferred to a place where shadows are roaming around. She spots a shadow with an umbrella that begins to follow her.
Hiro, too, is confused about the place he is sent to as he sees shadows roaming around. He sees a shadow that is possibly looking at him.
Gammamon seems to have lost the way when suddenly a pink Digimon appears in front of him. Jellymon jumps in to stop the Digimon from helping Gammamon. Kiyo hurries forward to stop Jellymon.
The new Digimon is delighted to see Kiyo and tells him that she will send him to a fun place, and in return, she wants his Digimon bracelet. Angorammon stops her, revealing that it is Picklemon. Picklemon has the ability to appear in any space and time.
Angoramon demands Picklemon to give Ruri back, to which she refuses. Gammamon is shocked to know that Hiro has disappeared and gets angry. He starts to call out Hiro’s name, hoping that he will appear as promised.
On the other side, Hiro is followed by a shadow that reveals to be his impersonation.
The shadow tries to take over Hiro, impersonating him perfectly when his Digimon bracelet suddenly glows. A portal opens on Gammamon’s side, from which they all jump into the time where Hiro is.
Hiro is wholly turned into a shadow, but Gammamon can recognize him. The shadow then disappears. Picklemon gets angry and starts attacking them.
Gammamon and Jellymon evolve to fight her, but she is very powerful. They somehow manage to overpower her and ask where Ruri is.
Ruri, too, is about to get engulfed by her mirror shadow. She cries for Angoramon, which opens a portal to where Ruri is. Angoramon can save Ruri in the nick of time. Picklemon is infuriated and decides to ruin everyone’s past to erase them from existence.
She first goes to the past of Betelgammamon but comes out utterly defeated. She then goes to his future and returns happily.
She decides to be friends with Gammamon and return everyone to their world. Everyone comes back, and Gammamon finally buys goods from the store by himself.

Digimon, short for “Digital Monsters,” is a Japanese media franchise offering toy pets, manga, anime, games, films, and even a trading card game. The franchise was created back in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, influenced by Tamagotchi/nano Giga Pet toys.
