Diamond no Ace Act II Chapter 241: Release Date, Delay, and Discussions

The ace that Seidou longed for – Acejun, is shining bright in this cloudy match against Sankou as he ceases their chances to score more runs. Still, Seidou is yet to put up a run on the scoreboard, and the pressure on both teams is steaming as the heated semi-final reaches its second half.

Ochiai even acclaims this as Sawamura’s best performance of the summer. With him kicking up a gear in the second half of the game, his teammates are also fired up to give their best and steal the lead from Sankou.

Kataoka encourages the team by stating that the game had entered its second half, so they are bound to come across more weak pitches by Amahisa. They must not let that opening get away and turn that into an opportunity.

Meanwhile, as Sawamura changes his undershirt, Okumura is worried if he was under a lot more pressure this time, as Kawakami is unable to pitch. Sawamura notices Okumura looking concerned and comforts him, saying that Seidou won’t be finished that easily.

In the bottom of 7th, Zono makes contacts for a hit at the center field and manages to get on base. With no outs and a runner on first, will this become the start of Seidou High’s counterattack?

6. About Diamond no Ace

Ace of Diamond, also known as Diamond no Ace, is a Japanese shōnen baseball manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Terajima and published by Kodansha. A sequel titled Ace of Diamond Act II started in 2015. 

The series follows one Eijun Sawamura, a baseball pitcher with a very unusual changeup pitch that has occurred naturally. 

Sawamura plans to go with his friends to a local high school and play baseball to the best of their abilities. 

However, one scout from the prestigious Seidou High approaches him and offers him a scholarship and a chnce to make it to the nationals. Sawamura decides to pay a visit to the school, and it changes his entire outlook on the future.
