Diamond no Ace Act II Chapter 235: Release Date, Delay, and Discussions

The true value of an ace is questioned in a crisis. At some point, everyone makes mistakes and the ones who can make up for those mistakes on the field are the pitchers. And Sawamura sure did live up to and beyond his expectations of being the Seido’s Ace.

He successfully sent Sankou’s best batter, Hoshida, off the field, leaving Sankou with 2 out and a runner at second.

As Coach Sakaki once said, “The Team makes the Ace strong. The Ace lifts the Team Up.” Will Seido’s ace, Sawamura, be able to get the third batter out without letting Sankou score a run?

Only one way to find out and while fans wait for the next chapter’s release, we bring the updates on the same.

5. Chapter 234 Recap

Miyuki notices that Hoshida is very focused and he is aware that Hoshida has managed to hit over the outfielders’ heads despite being off-balance. So, decides to go with the pitch that has the least amount of risk of being sent to the outfield.

Sanko’s coach has full confidence in Hoshida, but Sawamura greets him with an inside moving pitch that he fouled off for the first strike.

The second pitch comes to an outside-low, and Hoshida does not swing as it was supposed to be a ball, but Miyuki frames it in such a way that he got it to be called a strike instead.

The pitchers aren’t the only ones who continue to grow and improve, and everyone is impressed by Miyuki’s performance as making pitches on borderline courses look like strikes require some highly advanced catching technique.

With the batter cornered with 2 strikes, it’s time for the third pitch. Sawamura pitches outside the boundary line and Hoshida misses. Hoshida is out and now Sankou is at two out and a runner at second.
