The chapter started with Amahisa dominating on the pitch with his new fastball, the Slutter.
The fastball breaks slightly right before the batter and confuses the batters. With a speed of 151 kph, Haruichi and Shirasu both are taken aback and struck out.
Assistant coach Ochiai remarks that unless Seidou scores at least 3 runs, they won’t be able to win this match. But, looking at Amahisa Ochiai feels those 3 runs would be too much to handle.
Now, at the top of the 2nd, the batter to come out in front of Sawamura’s pitching is Hoshida, who is Sankou’s best hitter who produced 2 RBIs against Yakushi.
II. Eijun’s Number 5
Miyuki sings for Eijun to pitch his number 4, which manages to get a strike against Hoshida. Feeling a bit secure, Miyuki and Sawamura go in with number 5.
