Toujou is hanging tough in the box, working the count to 2-2. However, he grounded out to the pitcher off Mei’s Cutter for two out.
Kataoka calls for a pinch hitter, subbing Masashi in, who will bat for Kanemaru. Kanemaru walks back to the bullpen, quite disappointed as he wanted to bat. So, with a runner on 2nd, two out, it’s up to Masashi to drive in the insurance run.
Mei smirks at the matchup against Tetsu’s brother, and Tetsu himself thinks in his head that Masashi should come in to challenge Mei with his swing.
