Diablo 4’s developers release patch 1.1.1 notes to fix mistakes

Diablo IV has had one of the best launches in recent times and is a significant success for Activision Blizzard. Critics have been vocal about how Diablo IV can get more nominations for numerous awards in the coming days.

After a mishap with patch 1.1.0, developers announced that patch 1.1.1 will release on August 8th. The patch will buff the Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid, and Necromancer classes. It will also increase the enemy density in Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides. The patch looks to introduce XP gain rebalancing across Diablo IV.

Other changes include a new stash tab and increasing the elixir stack to 99 to reduce the clutter. Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid, Necromancer, and Rogue are getting buffs.

Other general changes and bug fixes exist, as with any other patches. Gameplay updates include that Bosses above Level 60 will have more health.

Several improvements have been made that change Diablo IV’s damage and interaction effects with active barriers. Bonus damage and effects applied on-hit or when dealing damage work now through the barriers.

In the patch notes, the developers mentioned that the Exploit Paragon Glyph would apply the Vulnerable to enemies with active barriers.

Cheat death effects will function correctly when the player has an active barrier. This includes PvP scenarios.

The developers have also listened to the community and reduced the cost of refunding Skill and Paragon points. This makes them more accessible at lower levels.

However, they continue to be capped at a 40% reduction at Level 100. Elixirs can now stack up to 99, and the extra Stash Tab mentioned earlier can be purchased with gold.

The cast time for Leave Dungeon has been restored to 3 seconds based on the feedback they received from the players and community. Another significant change is that the Nightmare Dungeon has been changed for better-balanced gameplay.

The prompt changes that the developers are bringing out will please the fans. Patch 1.1.1 will make the gameplay more pleasurable and balanced moving forward with the Season of the Malignant.
