The 24th Detective Conan film takes us back to Tokyo, where our crime-magnet protagonist gets involved in a new mystery that revolves around the Akai family.

A new trailer for Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet film is streaming on YouTube. The film will premiere on April 16, 2021.

The trailer features the film’s theme song, The Scarlet Alibi by Tokyo Jihen. It revolves around a mysterious bike-rider who keeps coming in Conan’s way.

In the very next scene, we see Conan and his friends trapped in a bullet train. The premiere date appears on the screen in the form of a timer, which makes me believe that he is in a battle against time.

FBI agent Shuichi Akai will be monitoring the investigation, and not only he, but his entire family will also be playing a key role. The fact that a previously released visual featured Conan Edogawa and the Akai family pretty much confirm my speculations.

The train we saw in the trailer is no ordinary bullet train; it’s the world’s first “vacuum superconducting linear.” The expeditious gift of science is faster than any other train mankind has witnessed before, and will run from Nagoya to Tokyo.
