Demon Slayer: Mugen Train’s release date is almost here. It will be released in mid-October in Japan. However, the overseas fans have to wait just a bit more to get their hands on the upcoming film.

Mugen Train will debut Kyojuro Rengoku, the flame hashira. Rengoku is already a much-celebrated character among the manga readers. We cannot wait for his awesome anime debut.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie will make its theatrical debut in Japan on 16th October this year. Aniplex of America and Funimation announced that the movie will premiere in North American theatres in early 2021.

The announcement was made during the New York Comic-Con program in the Kimetsu no Yaiba panel. Representatives from Funimation and Aniplex talked about the movie’s animation procedures and what we can expect from it.

Anthony Foronda, the marketing specialist of Aniplex of America describes Rengoku as a “big brother” to Tanjiro and his friends. He has a warm and caring character and this new mission with the other Demon Slayers is bound to be fun.

The whole movie’s plot will reportedly take place on the train itself. Ufotable has promised a high-quality animation style. The upcoming movie will be one of the best in terms of cinematic animation style.

We cannot wait for all those complex shots of action scenes on top of the train!

Enmu, one of the twelve kizukis is the main antagonist of the movie. His powers are mainly hypnosis and manipulation, however, further details are not yet known. The film will bring with it more exciting details and maybe a peek into the anime’s season 2.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge.

Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 with 19 collected tankōbon volumes released as of present.

In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.

As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
