Relive the Mugen Train Arc with its 7 Episode Anime, this October

As if breaking almost every film record in existence wasn’t enough, the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie is coming back again. This time, in a new form and with more oomph factor.

If Rengoku’s predicament left you sniffling, you have a worse fate at hand. The upcoming adaptation is hell-bent on showing Rengoku’s life (and death) in eye-bleeding detail.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train is inspiring an anime with seven episodes. The series will premiere on October 10, 2021, on Funimation and Crunchyroll.

A new visual was released for the Mugen Train anime and it looks like the series keeps on improving its art style.

The Mugen Train arc will receive an original first episode which will focus on Rengoku. His preparation for the mission and his way to the train will be highlighted, possibly to make fans cry even harder during the last episode.

70 new animation cuts will be added to the other six episodes. New background music will be applied, and fresh trailers will also be released.

LiSA will provide the OP and ED for the upcoming anime. The OP is “Akeboshi,” and the ED is “Shirogane.”

The film will also be available on BluRay with standard and limited editions that will be released on December 21st. The standard edition will be available on Funimation Shop, Amazon, Walmart, and other affiliated stores.

This is not the only announcement, as the release date of Demon Slayer season 2 has finally been confirmed.

Mugen Train is a pre-existing masterpiece. Thus the newly edited version has much to live up to. With two back-to-back highly-anticipated releases, the franchise is going all-in this year.
