‘Deaimon’ Confirms April Release Date With a Sweet and Fresh Visual

Upcoming anime, Deaimon, portrays an unexpected father-child duo. Itsuka abhors her foster parent, Nagumo. To her, he is just someone who runs from his responsibilities.

Yet, Nagumo realizes how hyper-independent Itsuka is and wants to help her out. This spring, you can look forward to this warm and comforting anime that will give you the fuzzies, no holds barred.

The Deaimon anime will be released on April 6, 2022. The new trailer captures the essence of the cute series, and you can check it out right here to fan-girl with me:

The video shows Nagumo returning to his hometown and realizing that Itsuka is the heir in line for inheriting his father’s business. Of course, he gets an earful from his parents at first about leaving for Tokyo.

Some cute moments are also shown where Nagumo tries to help out Itsuka when she’s in trouble.

The video also previews the ending theme song of the anime, “Koko ni Aru Yakusoku,” by the Deaimon unit. It is a special unit formed by ayaho and Junichi Soga.

The opening theme, “Sumire,” will be performed by Maaya Sakamoto, who also voices Itsuka’s mother.

In the latest visual, all the characters can be seen in front of Midorimatsu, the sweet shop owned by Nagumo’s parents.

Itsuka is holding a Japanese sweet that is perfect for the spring season. The people who work at the shop are also portrayed in the visual.

Deaimon will bring a heartwarming story this spring and show how Japanese sweets can form bonds between people.

About Deaimon

Deaimon is a Japanese manga was created by Rin Asano and was launched in the May 2016 issue of Young Ace. Kadokawa published the manga’s 10th compiled volume on November 4, and will publish the 11th compiled volume on May 1.

The manga’s story centers on Nagomu, a man who left his home in Kyoto and his family’s confectionary shop when he became a musician.

Nagomu Irino returns to his Kyoto home for the first time in ten years when his father is hospitalized.

Nagomu is eager to take over Ryokushou, the family’s Japanese sweet shop, but he’s instead asked to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihira, the girl everyone calls the successor.
