First PV of ‘Date A Live V’ Reveals Opening and Ending Theme Songs

A lot has happened in Date a Live Season 4, from the revelation that the ‘Worst Spirit’ wasn’t so bad after all to the character development of Kurumi; the season packed it all.

Now, a new season is all set to air this spring and will most likely cover the second half of the Kurumi arc and the Mio arc. It is the beginning of the final part of the anime, and fans are more than ready!

Kadokawa revealed the first promotional video and key visual for the ‘Date A Live V’ anime. The anime is set to debut in April 2024 and will have 12 episodes.

The promotional video previews the all-out battle to seal the ‘Worst Spirit.’ Shido declares that he would be the first person to rewrite the history of the world.

The anime also features the opening theme song, “Paradoxes” by Miyu Tomita. Girl group Sweet ARMS will perform the ending theme song “Hitohira.”

The key visual of ‘Date a Live V’ features the main character, Itsuka Shido, who takes center stage along with other significant characters Kotori Itsuka, Kurumi Tokisaki, Mio Susumiya, Touka Yatogami, Tobiichi Origami.

The new cast includes Aya Endo (Goodnight World) as Mio Takamiya, a beautiful young girl with a mysterious existence. Here is the list of cast members returning to the anime.

The trailer started an entire discourse about season 5. Many fans are trying to figure out if it is the last season of the anime. However, there 6 novels left for the series to cover, and it would be impossible to do that in 12 episodes.

So, rest assured, this will not be the anime’s final season. Nevertheless, this will be one banger of a season, and we all look forward to its release.
