Dark Gathering episode 8 will introduce a new character to the anime, Keitaro’s next student.

3. Episode 7 Recap
Eiko and Keitaro had declared their feelings for one another, and Keitaro had also decided to help Yayoi. Yayoi also disclosed the name of the spirit she had given to the person who had killed her mother, the Spectre of Death.
As the episode progressed, Keitaro and Yayoi discovered Spirit and drove them there as Eiko drove. Eiko claimed to have heard rumors about the road tunnel when the three arrived at their destination. However, because they were present, the spirit became apparent to them.
Yayoi then permitted the ghost to enter their vehicle, and Keitaro captured it. Keitaro was later spotted at home, but the tunnel ghost kidnapped him as he fell asleep. Yayoi and Eiko, on the other hand, realized they had been misled, and another spirit had been caught when they returned home.

The manga’s protagonist is Keitaro, who attracts spirits wherever he goes. Lots of tragedies happen around him for this reason which causes him to isolate himself.
Just as he starts coming out of his shell, he meets Yayoi who follows ghosts to hunt them. Keitaro is roped into her adventures and they become partners.
