2. Recap of Chapter 199 of Dandadan
The latest chapter of Dandadan started with Momo, Zuma, and Jiji successfully defeating the Typhoon Human. Meanwhile, Daiki, who was watching this happen from within the flight, was really shocked to see this turn of events. He knew that they didn’t have the time to be awestruck at their feat, so he immediately asked to be taken to the cockpit to take control of the flight. He revealed that since his father was a pilot, he too had some extent of knowledge of how to pilot a flight.
Raiya initially considered this to be unreasonable because Daiki could barely walk, but then Daiki went on a sentimental spiel about how he bullied kids in his class, including Toru, and that he was probably being punished for being a bad person throughout his childhood. He then said Zuma and Raiya showed him how to be a decent person, and he wanted to live up to those expectations, while making sure that he could help the two when they needed his help.
Meanwhile, Seiko was on the verge of falling asleep in the cockpit. She couldn’t make sense out of the piloting manual in the cockpit and was also slowly starting to lose the memory of Momo. However, Raiya and Daiki showed up and volunteered to pilot the fight, greatly lifting a load off Seiko. Meanwhile, Momo’s group was still in the sky after defeating the typhoon. When Momo asked Naki Kito to take them to Shimane, Naki refused and told them that she would take them to their hideout to use them as sacrifices.
On hearing this, the evil eye within Jiji started acting out, and before he knew it, his body was taken over. Before Jiji could do anything to them, a giant shark popped up and swallowed half of the worm, which contained the Kito family. Momo, Zuma, and Jiji jumped off before getting swallowed, but Jiji pounced at the shark immediately, swearing to kill every last Kito out of anger. While he wanted to make the shark spit out all the Kito’s to kill them, this didn’t age well, as he didn’t have any footing in the stratosphere.
Meanwhile, Seiko’s group, which had regained control over the plane, was flying in Momo’s direction. Vamola detected Momo’s location and had the flight fly towards the three as they plunged toward the ground. Once the airplane was in Momo’s range, she used her invisible hand to grab onto the shark, leaving the Kito family in the Shark’s belly.

Being the 200th chapter of the manga, we can expect to see some special illustrations of the manga to commemorate a benchmark in the manga’s serialization. Besides this, we can expect Momo’s group to resume their journey to Shimane to fix Momo’s condition.
