BL anime, Dakaichi, established a serious relationship between the rivals, Takato and Junta, in the first season. Following that, the upcoming movie will amp up the series’ appeal as both find themselves in the country of passion, Spain.
Although only Takato was supposed to train there, Junta followed him like an obedient puppy. Shenanigans are about to ensue in the hilarious but smooth upcoming film.
DAKAICHI: I’m being harassed by the sexiest man of the year- the Movie in Spain is set for a premiere on October 9, 2021. The film’s official trailer has just been released, and it showcases the funny antics of the characters.
The trailer shows how Junta follows Takato to Spain and learns Flamenco with him. Is it because he does not want to lose to his rival, or does he want to keep his beloved company?
No matter the reason, it is absolutely adorable how Junta and Takato interact in the trailer. Coupled with some beautiful shots of dancing, the PV is stealing hearts.
DEEP SQUAD’s “Kawari Yuku Mono Kawaranai Mono” theme song is previewed in the trailer and adds life to the series.
A brilliant new visual was also previously revealed for all of you fujoshi out there.
The cast and staff members from the previous anime series are returning for the film, and Aniplex will be distributing it. Crunchyroll streamed the anime’s first season, so there is a chance that it will get rights to the upcoming movie as well.
The never-ending competition between Junto and Takato will continue in the upcoming installation of the series, and I am looking forward to Junta getting under Takato’s skin again. Will Takato finally get his #1 position back in the industry? Let’s wait and watch.
