Most of the world has been on lock down for the past few weeks due to the COVID 19 pandemic. First large social gatherings were prohibited and now only essential places are open to flatten the curve.
The world of anime and manga is no exception. Many production houses are shutting shop, causing delays in many release schedules.
@WSJ_manga posted a scanned image of a Japanese announcement which says that Black Clover’s anime will go on break after episode 132.
Starting May 5th, a re-run of episodes will begin from episode 1 in the place of episode 133. This comes as no surprise as many anime have gone on break already.
The Black Clover anime will (what we assume temporarily) go on break after the broadcasting of Episode 132. There will be a rerun of Episode 1 in Episode 133’s place on May 5th. Black clover released episode 131, titled “A New Resolve,” on April 21st.
The episode shows Asta, Noelle Silva, and Secre Swallowtail as they travel to Hage, a small village in the Forsaken Realm of the Clover Kingdom.
During their journey, they run into Yuno and Sylph, who are coincidentally also on their way to Hage.
The group of the Magic Knights are welcomed and given a tour of the schoolhouse newly constructed in the village. They even take part in teaching young children.
Episode 132 will be released on April 28th, sadly it will be the last new episode coming for the foreseeable future.
However, with the re-run of the anime starting on May 5th, this quarantine could be the perfect opportunity to catch up on the anime!
