The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III artwork was recently leaked via @algebra_sloth on Twitter. The artwork was spotted on carton packs of Monster Energy drinks featuring Captain Price.
The new artwork leaked by @Earthbound_fan on Twitter revealed Captain Price with the same red backdrop and Black Ops III-esque logo. Another artwork which shows the skull of Task Force 141 with a snake coiling around it was also revealed.

The same singular eye in the Monster packaging is also spotted in the artwork leaked recently. However, fans have yet to like it.
Modern Warfare III was initially released to expand to Modern Warfare II. However, it soon grew out of proportion and became a standalone release.
Some fans also heavily criticize the artwork’s red theme, calling out Activision for “trying too hard to be edgy.” One Redditor even described the artwork as the landing page for a “knockoff iOS app.”
There is no denying that the new Modern Warfare III logo borrows heavily from the Black Ops III logo, making it look almost low effort on the part of the developers.
While appreciation for artworks is subjective, there is no denying that the artworks will spark some rumors in the coming days.
The second key artwork is of particular interest. Task Force 141, comprising several individuals, including Captain Price and Soap, constantly fight to stop Makarov and his “Insider Circle” from wreaking havoc.
In the new artwork, it has been shown that a snake is winding through the skull of what appears to be the Task Force 141 logo. This could hint at a possible deprecation of Task Force 141 and the killing of some critical characters by Makarov and his allies.
It could also mean there has been an insider in Task Force 141 from Makarov’s Insider Circle. All of these are speculations as of now. Some fans are, however, optimistic and excited about Modern Warfare III, which is expected to release soon, with a possible reveal on August 17th in Warzone.
