It was in October when Activision announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War will get a zombie mode like never seen before. They claimed that a new theme, characters, and cross-platform would be introduced.
The zombie mode is referred to as Zombies Onslaught mode. Furthermore, it has been announced that the new mode will remain exclusive to PlayStation for one whole year.
Zombies Onslaught is a “two-person, fast-paced Zombies experience” where players will play in different locations hoping to survive against a horde of undead.
“During Requiem’s investigation of Dark Aether anomalies at various, familiar locations across the globe, your strike team encounters a mysterious Orb radiating dangerously high levels of unnatural energy. As your team of two investigates the anomalies, the Orb creates a barrier trapping your team inside a specific zone, and a seemingly unending horde of zombies is unleashed. With nowhere to run, your team has a single goal in mind: stay alive.”

Basically, all you have to do here is survive. Zombies will not show you any mercy whatsoever. Keep your mind sharp and remember that weapons are your only friend here.
With each wave, the zombies will become stronger, deadlier, and swifter. Thus, change is the only constant. The more you kill, the more you’re rewarded.
On the basis of your kills, you’ll be provided Gold, Silver, and Bronze rankings which will further offer you more benefits.
With such arrivals, Sony now has a great edge over its rivals Microsoft. Many popular exclusives like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon: Forbidden West, and God of War: Ragnarok are the type of games that alone are capable of serenading you to buy the console.
With Zombies Onslaught, PlayStation 5 users will definitely have bragging rights over their ‘Xbox friends’.
