The biggest news of all is that Ryo will be voiced once again by Akira Kamiya. Kamiya’s voice had brought life to this role. Because of him, the rare emotional moments in this series were portrayed so beautifully.

Shinjuku Private Eyes was the last City Hunter movie, and it was released in 2019. The franchise is so huge that it has been adapted into a Korean drama, a Hong Kong film, and whatnot. From spinoff manga to big-screen releases, the series has everything.

Ryo, with his flirty personality and incredibly picky choice of missions, has gained a name for himself. It’ll be fun to see him going on missions once again with the only girl who can keep him in line, Kaori.
