Chainsaw Man was released in Shonen Jump in December 2018. So far, it has been compiled into 6 volumes and has been steadily gaining recognition.
Recently, @YonkouProd tweeted that the Chainsaw Man manga will receive an anime adaptation. There has been no official announcement, or any other details available on the topic.

Fans are definitely worried about how intricacies of this phenomenal manga will be animated properly, but the excitement that comes with this news is a little hard to resist.
Storyline for Season 1
The series follows Denji, who lives in a world where Devils and Humans are enemies. He is indebted to the Yakuza as his father died before paying back what he owed. Together with his Devil dog, who has features of a chainsaw, he spends his days cutting trees.
One fateful day, a deal with the Yakuza he made goes horribly wrong, and he is left to die. His dog merges with him and fully heals him. This grants him the abilities of a chainsaw, thus turning him into the Chainsaw Man.

The series ranked #4 on Kono Manga ga Sugoi! list of best manga of 2019 for male readers. In 2019, Chainsaw Man was one of the winners of the 5th Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Award in the Print category. The manga was nominated for the 13th Manga Taishō award in 2020. The series ranked #10 in a poll conducted by AnimeJapan for “Most Wanted Anime Adaptation.” And now it’s finally about to be adapted into an anime!

Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The series started publishing in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in December 2018.
The story is set in a world where Devils cause harm to humans. Denji, the protagonist, owns a devil dog that has characteristics similar to a chainsaw. After being left for dead by the Yakuza in a deal gone wrong, Denji’s dog merges with him, healing him completely and transforming him into Chainsaw man.
