Aki meets Future Devil in episode 10 of Chainsaw Man, titled “Bruised and Battered.”

Denji and Power get a new trainer. It is the badass Kishibe. Their training led to them dying a lot of times. Kishibe is too strong a person for even devils to handle. Kishibe will surely turn Power and Denji into the strongest devil.

Aki got Himeno’s letter that she had written to her little sister. The episode carried a lot of emotional baggage. It was quite heartbreaking to see Aki remembering Himeno every now and then.

Episode 11 Speculations

Aki will make a contract with the Future Devil in episode 11 of Chainsaw Man. Future Devil is quite an interesting creature, and his screen presence will be something really funny. Something opposite of what fans could expect from the devil.

Denji and Power will continue their training with Kishibe. They will be training in the upcoming episode, with nothing major happening anytime soon.

We can still expect the entry of a new character in the upcoming episode or two, and they will change the entire course of the anime. I am so excited about the beginning of the new arc.

Episode 10 Recap

Aki is in the hospital. Denji and Power are also present in his room, creating a ruckus. After some time, they both leave the room. Aki asks Curse Devil about the time he is left with.  Curse replies only two years are left.

Aki tries to smoke but gets reminded of Himeno and starts crying. Denji, who returned to get his manga, hears Aki crying. Denji then reflects back on him slowly losing his humanity. He ponders on the question of whether he will cry over the deaths of Power, Aki, and Makima.

After thinking about it for a while, he throws all his worries aside and decides to have fun. Tendo and Kurose enter Aki’s room.

Makima takes Denji and Power to Kishibe. Kishibe is their new teacher who will train them. Kishibe breaks their neck in their first meeting. He tells them that he is the strongest devil hunter, so if they defeat him, they will become the strongest devil.

He decides to hunt them. Denji and Makima attack him, but they get badly wounded. Kishibe thinks that he has got new toys to play with. Aki tries to call Kon, but she doesn’t respond.

Tendo and Kurose ask Aki if he wants to leave the special division. However, Aki won’t quit his job and will continue to pursue Gun Devil. After they leave, a girl shows up in Aki’s room, and Aki is shocked to see the girl.

Denji and Power are completely exhausted after their training with Kishibe. Kishibe killed them multiple times, and they couldn’t even hit him once. When going home, Power and Denji decide to use their brain when they fight him next time.

The next day, Kishibe comes to Power and Denji’s house to pick them up. Power and Denji are ready to attack him, but their plan fails. Tendo and Kurose take Aki to an underground place to get him a new devil contract.

We get a flashback where Himeno’s little sister brings a pile of letters written by Himeno to Aki. In the letters, Himeno talked about Aki and her wish to make him leave the job.

Tendo and Kurose take him to the Future Devil for Aki to make a contract with him.

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.

The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.

However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
