Fami shows up as an uninvited guest at Asa’s house in chapter 135 of Chainsaw Man, titled “Sentimental Drive.”

I. Denji’s Feelings

Denji is slowly getting more and more messed up in his head. He is unable to grasp what is happening around him. He doesn’t yet know that the church and Asa are working for his sake.

However, she asks Yoru why she is in a good mood as she didn’t get angry with Asa for praising Chainsaw Man. Yoru replies that war is near because of what Falling Devil did.

All nations have suffered severe losses, and when people are in need of money, they wage wars. This way, they will remember and fear them. Asa asks her if her strength returns, will she not go after Chainsaw Man?

Yoru refuses and tells Asa to get her head out of her clouds and forget that he saved her. Asa starts getting flashbacks of him. Yoru tells her to stop thinking about him, but Asa can’t help.

Asa starts reciting a poem named “Sentinal Drive,” written by her. It is about Chainsaw Man and how she felt whenever he saved her. Yoru tells her to stop. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Fami shows up.

Asa and Yoru get scared and start panicking. They continuously ask her how she got in and what she wants while she asks them if she can eat their food. They calm down.

Fami tells them that she can grant both of their wishes. Yoru doesn’t want to listen to her and tells her to leave, or she will kill her. However, Asa gets ready to hear what Fami is saying.

She starts going into detail about how Chainsaw Man has started living a normal life. All the devils are always after him, leading him into a cycle of violence. Fami and the church are hunting down all the devils so that he doesn’t have to fight and will eventually be able to lead a normal life.

Fami wants Asa to join the church and return his favor. Yoru disagrees with this plan. Fami shows Yoru a photo of the Black Chainsaw Man and tells her that there is a Red Chainsaw Man and a Black Chainsaw Man.

Yoru is after the black one. If Yoru wants to fight the black one, she will have to let the red one turn back into an ordinary human. Asa asks her why they should trust her.

Fami tells her that there is no need to trust her and just trust the church as they truly want to save Chainsaw Man. The television starts breaking the news of Asa Mitaka defeating many powerful devils in just a few days.

People have even started to believe that all of Chainsaw Man’s kills were actually hers. Denji is left in shock, anger, and frustration by this news.

6. About Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.

The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.

However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
