Chainsaw Man Chapter 131: Release Date, Speculations, Read Online 

Denji and Asa do some bike action in chapter 130 of Chainsaw Man, titled “Kill Building.”

It was a very short chapter with little to no dialogue and tons of great action scenes. The art of this chapter was insane. Fujimoto really hit it out of the park with this chapter, delivering something that was missing for so long. 

Fans are shocked by the six double pages included in this chapter. Nothing major happened in this chapter besides Denji and Asa moving around on the Chainsaw Bike. Their main goal was to outrun all the tentacles, but their quest was interrupted by the unknown devil.

1. Chapter 131 Speculations

Denji and Asa will ride a bike while fighting the enemy in chapter 131 of Chainsaw Man. 

I. The Mysterious Monster

The identity of the devil Denji is fighting is still under wraps. We are yet to know who/what that giant thing is. Maybe it is someone sent by Fami or one of the four horsemen, but it is too early to have a horseman attack Denji. 

There is a high chance of it being the Gluttony devil because of all the eating and desperation for dinner. 

II. Will the Devil Get Killed?

I think the next chapter will be the end of the Devil (most probably). However, there may be some third-party hindrance ruining it all for Asa and Denji. I just wonder what will happen if Nayuta shows up out of nowhere. That will be one heck of a twist. 

Jokes aside, we are still to see some major moves from Denji, so I am eagerly waiting for the finishing blow.

Episode 131 of the Chainsaw Man anime has been released on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Denji and Asa cut through some tentacles with the Chainsaw Bike. Denji is surprised by the badass bike and exclaims that he never thought he could do something this awesome. 

Asa tells him that the fake Chainsaw Man said that if they outrun all the tentacles, they will get out of there. Denji asks her if she trusts him. She replies that the fake one did save their life, so they should. 

A number of tentacles launch a joint attack, but they escape it by driving onto a building, cutting some of the tentacles in the process. The mysterious devil gets frustrated by all this.

It substitutes itself instead of one of the tentacles and immediately launches an attack on the duo. It can shape-shift too. While they are dodging its attack, the Falling Devil throws a huge building at them.  

Asa and Denji cut through the building and come out safely (some awesome action panel here). However, the main devil already stands before them with his giant mouth wide open to engulf them. 

 

5. About Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.

The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.

However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
