Denji revealed his weird but unsurprising dream in chapter 103 of Chainsaw Man titled “Denji Dream”
We finally got a full-fledged Denji chapter. He met Hirofumi, and the two of them sat down together to have a chat. It was an awkward conversation but knowing Denji, this was bound to happen.
It was good to see that Denji is not loved by everyone. There are an equal number of people who don’t like him or his work. Denji has to undergo a lot of development, but right now he is interested in some girls more than anything else.

The first lady to answer tells the reporter that she is a huge fan of his, although he is too gory for kids, a man says he doesn’t like him. A school girl says that her class is obsessed with him, while an old man claims that Chainsaw Man is stealing the devil hunter’s job.
A lady expresses her anger at the property damage done by Chainsaw Man. Some other people were also asked about it, but most of them had some problem with him.
In comes Denji, who takes one whole page to describe how cool Chainsaw Man is. The reporters get annoyed and tell the cameraman to cut out some part of it. Another reporter tells people to cheer for Chainsaw Man as a closure for the show.
Denji feels overwhelmed by the chants. He is in this process when Hirofumi shows up. Denji asks him how he knows his identity. Hirofumi reminds him of the time when some assassins were after Denji. Denji denies that anything as such ever happened.
Hirofumi takes Denji to a cafe to do some catching-up. They both order lots of food and drinks. Denji asks Hirofumi whether he is stalking him. Hirofumi responds in a half-positive manner.
Hirofumi tells Denji that he belongs to an organization that is tasked with keeping an eye on him.
They are not an evil organization, their job is to ensure that Denji lives a peaceful life. If his identity is out in public, Hirofumi will be in trouble. Hirofumi explains the consequences of revealing Denji’s identity with the help of a cake.
If his identity comes in public, Hirofumi won’t let him have the cake. He will take away all the spoons and knives. He won’t let him have ice cream or orange juice. In response to this, Denji starts eating the cake with his hands.
Hirofumi continues to convince him to keep his identity under wraps. He asks Denji why he is fighting devils. Denji tells him that he wants people to know that he is Chainsaw Man.
Why does he want that? Because once everyone knows, all the ladies will fawn over him (That’s some motivation there).
6. About Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.
The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.
However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
