Chained Soldier Anime Reveals Promo Video, 3 More Cast Members
The Jump Festa’23 event that took place on December 17 revealed the first promotional video for the television anime adaptation of the Chained Soldier manga. The video revealed 3 additional cast members.

The event also revealed that Maaya Uchida, the voice actor for Tenka Izumo, will perform the anime’s ending theme song. The opening theme song is performed by Kito, who voices the anime’s heroine Kyōka Uzen.
The anime is based on the manga written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura. The battle fantasy takes place in a world where a demonic gate has unleashed monsters named Shūki and there exists a peach tree capable of giving special powers to women.
The plot revolves around a down-on-his-luck boy named Yūki Wakura who meets Uzen Kyōka, a girl who has gained the power of the peach, and is the captain of the 7th Anti-Demon Squad.
The series is directed by Goro Kuji at studio Seven Arcs, with Junji Nishimura as chief-director. The series composition is being handled by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, with character designs by Hiroyuki Yoshii. Kohta Yamamoto is composing the music.
The anime will premiere sometime in 2023.

Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave) is a manga series by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura.
Mysterious entrances to the ‘Mato’ dimension appeared, threatning humans by the arrival of monsters called Shuuki. Hope came in the form of Mato fruit that gave superpowers to women who formed a matriarchal government, throwing men at the bottom of the social ladder.
During such times, the protagonist Yuuki met Kyouka, chief of the Anti-Demon Corps’ Seventh squad who made him his slave.
The anime adaptation will air sometime in 2023.
