Captain Levi Ackerman Is Still Alive – Attack On Titan Manga Ch. 125 Updates

With the end of the series in sight, Attack on Titan’s manga has been gearing up for the series finale. The final arc of the series has been full of information and action-packed scenes to wrap up loose ends of the stories. The latest addition to which is Captain Levi’s recent attempt to stop Zeke from escaping.

Chapter 125, titled “Sunset”, confirms that Captain Levi is still alive after his phenomenal fight with Zeke Jaeger, the possessor of the Beast Titan in Chapter 115.

Captain Levi is adored by AOT fans because of his genuinely remarkable skillset. His fight with Zeke Jaeger during the initial capture of Zeke is highly regarded as one of the best action sequences in the series. The source of Levi’s beastly powers is partly due to the rare Ackerman clan blood that flows through him.

The mutation in the Eldian DNA, credited to the Marleyans, produced a modified bloodline that not only makes them immune to the Founding Titan’s powers but also makes them really good at Titan-killing. Mikasa is also a possessor of this rare blood group, and that explains how killing titans came naturally to her.

Levi has a personal grudge with Zeke, as he is responsible for killing Commander Erwin during a siege to put an end to the Beast Titan. After his capture, Zeke was put directly under the supervision of Levi.

In an attempt to escape his chains, Zeke slyly converted Levi’s squads into Titans using Titan-activating spinal fluid and pit Levi against his own subordinates.

In this fight to the death, Levi proved himself once again when he took down 30 titans on his own and recaptured Zeke.

In his desperation, Zeke pulled the pin on the Thunder Spear and blew both of them to bits. Even though Zeke made it out alive, thanks to Ymir, Levi was presumed to be dead, i.e. until now.

Chapter 125’s last few pages show Hange transporting Levi’s bandaged body on a stretcher being described as “nothing more than a harmless man who just refuses to die.”

About Attack on Titan:

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings. Worst of all, seem to do it for pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls which are even taller than the biggest Titans.

Fast forward to the present, and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren Jaeger and his sister Mikasa Ackerman witnessed something horrific as the city walls were destroyed by a Colossal Titan that appeared out of thin air.
