Last Light Inn is one of the earliest places you’ll go to during the Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3. It is an Inn found within the Shadow-Cursed Lands. It is also the place where you’ll meet Isobel and be faced with a tough choice: to save Isobel or not.
Isobel can be rescued in Baldur’s Gate 3. Interacting with her at the Last Light Inn will trigger the arrival of Fist Marcus, who’ll try to kidnap her. Players will be faced with a choice to either hand Isobel over or save her. Choose the latter to start a boss fight with Fist Marcus.
Handing Isobel over will kill almost everyone at the inn. Instead, go for saving her to keep everyone else safe. Be warned that this will start the boss fight with Fist Marcus, and he’s no spring chicken.
1. How to defeat Fist Marcus in Baldur’s Gate 3?
To beat Fist Marcus, focus all your damage on him while supporting Isobel with spells that heal and grant armor. Use Polymorph to turn him into a sheep and attack him. After he dies, he respawns due to the Shadow Curse. To beat him again, use high damage single target spells and attack.
Spells like Eldritch Blast, Chromatic Orb, and Fireball can deal a lot of damage to him. For this fight, surround Isobel with your entire party and keep using spells like Mage Armor, Healing Word to grant her health and armor. This will protect Isobel from incoming attacks.
Close off the doors and windows too, such that he doesn’t escape. Keep a keen eye on Isobel’s health and do not let her die. Once Fist Marcus is dead, defeat the rest of his demons to win the fight.
2. How to find Isobel in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Isobel is located upstairs inside the Last Light Inn. To get to this Inn, go through the Underdark. Once you’ve made it through there, you’ll come out in Shadow-Cursed Lands. Head southwest through the wooden paths, then across the bridge to reach the Last Light Inn in Baldur’s Gate 3.
