Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have introduced us to many unique types of Pokemon besides the regular legendaries, such as Titan Pokemon. They can be encountered through the Path of Legends storyline.
These Pokemon may look similar to other run-of-the-mill Pokemon, but they are actually quite different. They are much bigger and heavier, and you can see a Titan Mark on the top of their heads. They have guaranteed 30 IVs as well.
Titan Pokemon can’t be caught when you meet them for the first time during the Path of Legends storyline. But worry not; you can catch them after you finish the storyline. To meet them again, simply head back to the same location you encountered them for the first time.

How to catch Titan Pokemon?
Before you attempt to catch Titan Pokemon, you must keep one thing in your mind. Once you beat all the Titan Pokemon and take away their respective Herba Mystica, they will shrink to their normal size.
However, they will still retain their near-perfect stats, so it’s advisable to catch them anyway. You can catch them by fighting them and catching them before they faint.
I. Stony Cliff Titan: Klawf
Level – 16
Type – Rock
Tera Type – Rock
Moveset – Vise Grip, Rock Smash, Block, Rock Tomb
Weak Against – Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Steel
Klawf can be found to the northeast of South Province Area 3’s Watchtower. Walk upward from the path right to the Herba Mystica cave, and you will find it. Walk towards it to challenge it.
II. Open Sky Titan: Bombirdier
Level – 20
Type – Flying and Dark
Tera Type – Flying
Moveset – Rock Throw, Wing Attack, Pluck, Torment
Weak Against – Electric, Ice, Rock, Fairy
Start walking in the northwest direction from the Pokemon Center located in the center of West Province Area One. Walk up the narrow path where boulders are falling, till you come across Bombirdier. Battle it to catch it.
III. Lurking Steel Titan: Orthworm
Level – 29
Type – Steel
Tera Type – Steel
Moveset – Iron Tail, Headbutt, Wrap, Sandstorm
Weak Against – Fire, Fighting, Ground
Fast Travel to the Province Area 3 watch tower, and you will find it in a pit next to the watch tower, just near the mines. Follow the same old drill of walking up to the Pokemon and battling it.
IV. Quaking Earth Titan: Great Tusk (Scarlet Exclusive)
Level – 45
Type – Ground/Fighting
Tera Type – Fighting
Moveset – Rapid Spin, Brick Break, Knock Off, Stomping Tantrum
Weak Against – Water, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Fairy
Great Tusk is a Paradox Pokemon and a Titan Pokemon at the same time. It can be caught in Pokemon Scarlet only. Great Tusk can be found in a giant circle of rocks to the west of the Asado Desert.
V. Quaking Earth Titan: Iron Treads (Violet Exclusive)
Level – 45
Type – Ground/Steel
Tera Type – Steel
Moveset – Rapid Spin, Iron Head, Knock Off, Stomping Tantrum
Weak Against – Fire, Water, Fighting, Ground
Similar to Great Tusk, Iron Treads is a Paradox and Titan Pokemon. It can be caught in Pokemon Violet only. Iron Treads can be caught in the same giant circle of rocks to the west of the Asado Desert where you can find Great Tusk.
VI. False Dragon Titan: Tatsugiri
Level – 57
Type – Dragon/Water
Tera Type – Water
Moveset – Muddy Water, Icy Wind, Taunt, Dragon Pulse
Weak Against – Dragon/Fairy
Tatsugiri can be found in the exact same location it was found the first time. It will be lying down on a tiny island to the east of Casseroya Lake.
How to equip the Titan Mark?
Once you catch a Titan Pokemon, you will also obtain a unique mark that set apart these Pokemon from other ordinary members of their species. This mark is called Titan Mark.
To equip the Titan Mark, bring the Pokemon to your party. Click on the Pokemon and select ‘Check Summary’ option. Go to the rightmost tab and press A to view the mark. Press A again to equip the mark.
Once you equip your Pokemon’s Titan Mark, your Pokemon will proudly declare that it’s a former Titan Pokemon every time it is swapped in trainer battles.
Do Titan Pokemon respawn?
Titan Pokemon don’t respawn once they faint after you beat them. This is why you must save the game before you battle the Pokemon, or else you won’t be able to catch them.
