Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 adds Damage Buffs & Nerfs

The latest patch update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 recently went live on October 11th. The game is in its sixth and final season which introduced new maps, weapons, and exciting Halloween-themed collaborations with Diablo, Doom and Spawn.

The Lockwood 300 has been partially nerfed as part of the new update in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The weapon’s damage range with the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment has been reduced for both close and mid range.

According to some theories, this is a part of promotion for the Doom crossover bundle which features a Lockwood 300 blueprint in Doom’s classic Super Shotgun style. However, the blueprint shows the shotgun with the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment built into it.

Certain weapons have been nerfed in the new update, namely the M13B, TR-76 Geist, ISO 9mm, and Lachmann Shroud. The latest patch changes also include damage buffs to the Kastov 545, Kastov 74u, and Minibak. The controversial Gaia operator skin has also been redesigned to improve its visibility.
