Episode 12 of the Burning Kabaddi concluded the first season of the series, with Noukin High School winning the practice match against Saitama Kyouyou High School.
In the last round of the match, Yoigoshi surprised everyone by spinning to escape the dodge, which was otherwise known as Hiramoto’s field of expertise.
Eventually, Yoigoshi gained four points by touch and two points by lona. He changed the score to 40:44, and thus Noukin won the match.
In the last few minutes of the episode, Hiramoto revealed that only two juniors could take lona from him till date. Hetold Yoigoshi that he will meet him again if they both manage to make it to the tournament.
We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.
1. Episode 13 Speculation
Season 2 with a tournament arc will continue to pick up pace after their practice match against Saitama Kyouyou High, as the story is far from the end.
The finale of the episode confirmed that we would be introduced to a new strong player, about whom Hiramoto talked about in the end. It was also hinted that the player might be a foreigner.
Maybe an Indian exchange student? The upcoming season will answer all our queries. If Noukin manages to make it to the tournament, it will be interesting to see how Yoigoshi plays against someone of his level.
Moreover, since there was no considerable screen time for the three newly introduced characters, we will see more participation from them in the upcoming season. I hope they bring new strengths and skills to the team.
2. Episode 13 Release Date
Episode 12 of Burning Kabaddi (2021) anime, titled ‘After Giving Every Last Drop,’ concluded Season 1 of the anime series.
Episode 13 will be released as a part of Season 2, which is yet to be announced. We will update the article as soon as an official statement is released from the franchise.
3. Episode 12 Recap
As the ending of the match comes near, Misumi struggles to defend against Sakura, but fails to do so when Sakura touches the line. As a result of losing, Misumi couldn’t look into his team member’s eyes.
Next from Noukin High School is Yoigoshi, a striker and raider. Hiromoto asks his team members to send him back as soon as he enters their territory.
But Yoigoshi manages to gain 2 points and get two of the Saitama team members out, despite them trying to push him.
Sakura enters again as a raider. As the ace of the Kouyou team, he underestimated his opponents and thought that he only needed to escape from Shinji Date.
However, Misumi proves him wrong by blocking his spin. Therefore, Kouyou’s raid fails, and Noukin gains one point.
Sakura feels guilty for what happened, but Hiramoto assures him to leave the rest to them. He praises him for sending Masata out of the game earlier.
After some time, Noukin’s final raid starts. Noukin needs atleast 2 points to make it, as the current score is 40:38.
Yoigoshi goes inside Kouyou’s territory as Noukin’s reader. He makes good use of the lobbies to escape the dodge, but Kouyou immediately spread their defense.
When Hiramoto tries to block him from behind, Yoigoshi pushes him back. He then targets the remaining opponents by creating a trajectory and runs to his territory. However, Hiramoto again tries to block him.
At the end, Yoigoshi manages to touch the line by spinning to escape the defense, which is usually Hiramoto’s trick. As a result, Noukin gains four points by touch and 2 points by lona. A total of six points changes the score to 40:44. Hence, Noukin wins the practice match.
After the match, Sakura tells his team members that he really wants his team to win, unlike earlier when he joined them just for fun. They join hands and promise to get their revenge at the tournament.
Later, Masato reminds Sakura of his promise to become the best raider as they bid goodbye to each other.
In the end of the episode, Hiramoto walks up to Yoigoshi and congratulates him for taking lona from him. He further tells him that only two juniors were able to do that till date, and he will meet the other one if they both manage to make it to the tournament.
