Bucchigiri?! Episode 4 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 3 of ‘Bucchigiri?!’ is titled “Love At Fist Fight! The One and Only Quail in The World.” In this episode, Arajin is welcomed into Siguma as their newest member.

Arajin expects to be showered by women during the party. However, Siguma has a tradition of playing ‘Look that-a-way’ for welcoming parties. During the game, each player must throw a punch at their partner. If the person who got hit turns away, they lose the round.

Scared of dying from a punch, Arajin asks Senya to merge with him during the game. However, Senya can only merge with Arajin for one of the rounds.

1. Episode 4 Release Date

Episode 4 of ‘Bucchigiri?!’ will be released on Saturday, February 3, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Saturday. You can watch ‘Bucchigiri?!’ anime on Crunchyroll.

I. Is Bucchigiri?! on a Break?

‘Bucchigiri?!’ is not on a break this week. Episode 4 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 4 Speculation

Arajin is now officially a part of Siguma and will likely stay there. Although Matakara is desperate to befriend Arajin again, he constantly avoids Matakara. Arajin probably has some repressed memories from his school days and does not want to be reminded of them by Matakara. 

Moreover, another third gang of hoodlums is slowly rising in the town. The gang’s leader is very cunning and has started a war between Minato Kai and Siguma. Marito is smart enough to know that Kenichiro would not make a move like this for no reason.

Therefore, Marito will likely try to talk with Kenichiro and understand what is happening. If Kenichiro listens to Marito and believes him, they could unite against the third gang. If a war between Minato Kai and Siguma starts again, it could mark the end of both gangs forever.

3. Recap of Episode 3

Matakara feels betrayed that Arajin would join Siguma after all they’ve been through. Minato Kai and Ikki Union had fought a long battle for many years to be at the top of the school. After Kenichiro defeated the Ikki Union’s leader in one punch, Marito took power and raised the clan to its former glory. 

Arajin falls asleep during the entire Siguma history lesson. Marito invites Arajin to lunch and steps out into the street. Marito says that they’re going to Arajin’s welcoming party. Shindo’s thugs get caught by Marito while mugging some poor student.

Matakara tries to talk with Mahoro about Arajin joining Siguma. However, Mahoro runs off after screaming into Matakara’s ears. The welcoming party starts with a game called “Turn that-a-way,” where two assigned partners punch each other. If the one who gets hit turns their head, they lose. Outa is the first to play with Arajin, and Senya agrees to help Arajin out.

Arajin loses the rock paper scissors game, but Senya keeps his head straight during the punch. Arajin wins the round, nearly breaking Outa’s knuckles from the punch. Arajin wins the next game of rock paper scissors and plans to throw a light punch so that he can lose. 

Two girls walk past, and both players turn that way, making Arajin win the round. Arajin and Marito face off in the final round. Arajin’s tummy starts acting up and he runs to the toilet. Arajin finds an extremely wounded Outa with a Minato armband beside him in the bathroom.

Marito knows Doman is the only one strong enough to beat Outa, but he’s too intelligent to do anything that shady. Arajin wants to quit Siguma, but Mahoro manipulates him into staying. Arajin practices with Senya to get their merge rate up. Ryu gets into a fight with some Minato freshmen later in the day.

After Ryu leaves the area, another gang shows up and finishes the fight—the following day in school, Matakara and Arajin partner up during physical training class. Multiple gang members seem beaten up by both Minato Kai and Siguma the next day.

‘Bucchigiri?!’ is an original anime series produced by MAPPA and directed by Hiroko Utsumi. Mappa and Utsumi have previously worked together on ‘Banana Fish’. The anime is scheduled for release in January 2024.
