Bruce Willis Told to Leave a Pharmacy For Not Wearing a Mask

Bruce Willis was recently asked to leave a Rite aid pharmacy store in Los Angeles after refusing to wear a mask. Even after having a scarf tied around his neck that he could have pulled up to cover his mouth and nose.

After receiving intense backlash from the internet, Willis issued a statement with People saying that “it was an error in judgment.” Adding to his statement, he urged people to “be safe out there everyone, and let’s continue to mask up.”

Bruce Willis is a 65-years-old actor who is best known for his roles in films like the Die Hard franchise, Pulp Fiction, The Sixth Sense, and Looper.

But according to some of the directors he has worked with before, he is hard to work with because of his behavior. Kevin Smith described that working with Willis on Cop Out was “f*cking soul-crushing.”

The number of cases is on the rise globally, and this is when everyone should follow social distancing and other preventive protocols. People look up to celebrities the most, as they tend to influence the masses.

Many celebrities have actively helped in running campaigns for bringing awareness about COVID19, and some are urging the masses to follow social distancing and wear masks. There have also been cases where some celebs called the pandemic a farce (which is laughable, honestly).

Willis has been relatively quiet about the pandemic until the recent incident came to light. He even received backlash for his actions (obviously).

In terms of doing the right thing by following the rules, Willis scores -10 points. While he’s saying others to mask up and stay safe, it’s a little hypocritical of him to not follow through with his own word. As for how real his apology is, it is still relatively uncertain.
