Being the successor of a decade-long manga with a title as esteemed as one of the “Big Three,” Boruto manga had a lot of expectations. Hence, Boruto manga started with a lot of sneer from the audience since it was unable to live up to the hype of Naruto.
However, as the chapters passed and story progressed, Boruto started picking itself up to the fan-base it has today, by one underlying philosophy, “We have achieved the peace that Naruto longed for!“
The manga is in its Kara arc as the moment and the chapter 44 came out last month. So, its time to discuss the release date, scans and other details for the chapter 46 of the manga.
1. Chapter 45 Release Date & Highlights
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 46 will release on Monday, April 20. Boruto manga is published under Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is a monthly magazine that comes out on 20th of every month. In next chapter, we will likely see a fight between Jigen and Kashin Koji!
2. Is Boruto Chapter 45 On Break Next Month?
No, Boruto manga is not on any break this week. However, due to the growing concerns regarding COVID-19 pandemic, we can expect some sort of delay in next month’s issue.
But, that’s a problem for the next month! Make sure to enjoy this issue.
3. Chapter 45 Speculations/Predictions
Chapter 44 was full of mysteries, hence, there are a lot of elements that can be used to build up the upcoming chapter — 45. Let’s predict various instances that could happen in the next chapter!
Truth About Kara
Chapter 44 ended with Amado asking Naruto to let him “defect to Konoha.” For now, we don’t know if its a ploy by Amado or he actually wants to side with Konoha. But, if its true, we will most likely get more information on the mysterious Kara organization, its members, and most of all, its future plans for Boruto and Kawaki!
If Amado joins Konoha, we might also see him working alongside Dr. Katasuke and fixing Kawaki’s hand.
Truth About Kashin Koji & Amado
Now, this one might fall in the previous deduction only, but, these are two have been one of the most mysterious members of Kara so far — while Kashin Koji is speculated to be Jiraiya’s son, Amado wants to defect to Konoha.
Hence, it is safe to assume that their own history could be the central plot of chapter 45.
Kashin Koji vs. Jigen/Delta
While Jigen is resting and regaining his energy, Delta was made unconcious by Amado. After that, we saw Kashin entering the room where Jigen is resting.
In the next chapter we are most likely to see a face-off between Jigen — leader of the biggest terrorist organization and Kashin Koji — the man believed to be the son of the legendary sanin!
4. Chapter 45 Plot
Boruto chapter 44, titled “Amado,” was released recently. The cover art was Boruto in it s Otsutsuki form with one horn and Bakugan-looking eye.
Chapter starts as Naruto wakes up from his hospital bed, then, the panel shifts to Kawaki whose nano-tech is rejecting Dr. Katasuke’s prosthetic arm. It looks like he is back to 1 hand yet again!
While Naruto is proud of Team 7, Shikamaru wants him to teach them a lessor since they are “only kids!” It doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen (we all remember Naruto’s chroncicles as a genin, don’t we?).
The panel then shifts to Kara’s layer where Amado and Kashin Koji are sneaking out but are noticed by Delta. She, however, is forced to an unconcious state by Amado’s scientific prowess. He then uses Koji’s reverse summoning and is teleported to Konoha’s outskirts.
On the other hand, Koji enters Jigen’s room in hopes to defeat his battle-tired state.
We see the new Ino-Shika-Cho practicing while Amado attacks them and manages to put a bomb on Shikadai’s neck. He then asks for only an audience with Hokage’s advisor and Shikadai’s dad — Nara Shikamaru.
Sai and squad reach the scene but are forced to give in to his wishes.
Using Yamanaka clan’s jutsu Amado is patched to Shikamaru at the Konoha hospital. Amado proves that he is a member of Kara, and Naruto joins the conversation.
After asking for his wish out of this charade, Amado reveals that he wishes to defect to Konoha and reveal everything about Kara, Jigen & the Otsutsuki clan.
