Chapter 66 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations starts with Kawaki using his out-of-this-world karma on Momoshiki, courtesy of Amado. Momoshiki, who is in Boruto’s body, tries to kill Naruto.
Kawaki, a teenager, thinks it’s his job to rescue a father of two children, who eats attacks like this for breakfast. That new karma has gone straight to his head.
Kawaki wants to protect Lord Seventh, who Momoshiki is attacking, and for that, he announces he will kill Boruto. Can Kawaki do such a thing?

1. Chapter 67 Discussions and Prediction
Dear Lord Seventh, what was this chapter? I understand that Boruto isn’t himself lately, but that can’t be any reason to kill him. Even Code looks like a complete goody-two-shoes compared to Kawaki.
Jokes apart, Kawaki has either gone mad or has some crazy over-the-top master plan to make everything okay. Boruto can’t be dead for real, so there has to be a way.
Amado couldn’t have given the karma to Kawaki, knowing Boruto would die. There must be some reset mechanism that we, the audience, are unaware of. Hopefully, it’ll be revealed in the next chapter.

Chapter 67 of the Boruto manga has been released on Sunday, Feb 20, 2022. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

A flashback shows Amado goading Kawaki into using the karma he put in his arm. Eida tells Code that Amado had never really given a choice to Kawaki, whether he wants karma or not.
Amado had used Code and Eida to awaken the karma that was solely a weapon. Momoshiki says it usually isn’t possible for lost karma to manifest again. He figures that it’s Amado’s doing.
Momoshiki says Kawaki lets himself be used by others until he gets fed to Ten Tails. Kawaki and Momoshiki have an epic fight, and we see disruption cubes falling to the ground.
It feels like Kawaki is a second Isshiki. Naruto, Shikamaru, and Code are surprised by Kawaki’s behavior. Kawaki says he’ll do what needs to be done for Lord Seventh.
Kawaki and Momoshiki get to fighting again, and there are clouds of dust everywhere. Kawaki drops the disruption cube on Momoshiki, but Naruto swoops in to save Boruto, whose body Momoshiki has hijacked.
Kawaki tells Naruto that he will kill the demon who’s targeting Naruto’s life. Being a father, Naruto can’t let him do that. In the middle of this, Boruto wakes up in his body instead of Momoshiki.
Boruto tells Kawaki that he’s controlling Momoshiki now, but it’s only temporary. Soon, Momoshiki will take over. Kawaki reminds him of the promise he made that he’ll get rid of Boruto’s karma somehow.
Naruto tries to save Boruto but is kicked away. He knows Kawaki needs to kill him now. Kawaki pokes a hole through Boruto’s chest with his fist, and he falls to the ground.
