Boruto Anime’s Latest Ending Teases Momoshiki’s Appearance In Future

As Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime is heading to its initial manga arc: Mujina Arc, some interesting fan theories are surfacing on the web. Fans are excited to finally see the anime back on track with the manga after a series of 100 filler episodes.

Episode 139 of Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations had a new ending theme visuals and it contained a short frame with Momoshiki’s face.

This tiny bit of crucial information was spotted by Twitter user @RPWolfStone1 and it suddenly went viral and received attention from a lot of fans.

It’s interesting to note that the image is taken straight out of the manga and you can see it at 1:25 in the video.

Momoshiki gave Boruto the Karma seal shortly after seeing his future and it might be possible that he intentionally left his powers inside Boruto before dying for another Otsutsuki to retrieve them later.

Although nothing is clear as of now and there might be other reasons why Momoshiki attached himself to Boruto. But one thing is for sure that this build up for the continuation of Mujina Arc is gonna result in a canon like ending.
