Blue Lock Episode 15: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 15 of Blue Lock featured the two-on-two battle of Isagi and Nagi against Naruhaya and Barou. While I’m surprised that Barou and Naruhaya were teamed up together, the way Naruhaya provoked Isagi in this episode was more interesting.

Nagi and Isagi make an excellent combination as well, and I am excited to see the remainder of the two-on-two match in the next episode. Here are the latest updates.

Episode 15 Speculation

The next episode will continue with the remainder of the two-on-two match. Things don’t seem to look good for Isagi, as the episode seemingly ended with Naruhaya scoring a goal in front of him. However, Isagi tends to evolve quickly during matches and performs better when triggered, so there is still a chance he could turn things around.

If Nagi and Isagi win, there is also a good chance they will pick Barou to join their team due to his efficiency. Isagi will also have a head-to-head battle with Naruhaya since he told Isagi he feels they are average players.

Episode 14 Recap

Isagi and Nagi understand they are being tested on their unique skills as they return to Stage Two. Unexpectedly, Barou and former Team Z comrade Naruhaya are losers; Barou, despite having excellent shooting, was not selected due to his egotistical nature.

Naruhaya approaches Isagi during practice, and the two decide to play against each other, knowing that a loss will result in their disqualification due to their inferior talents against Barou and Nagi.

When the following game begins, Barou steals the ball from Nagi and displays his improved range and scoring. In the following round, Isagi passes to Nagi, who uses his deft control to get by Barou and score.

Later, Barou grabs possession of the ball but declines to send it to Naruhaya; Isagi steals it and then gives it to Nagi for a second goal. Angered, Barou attempts a kickoff shot in the following round but misses the goal. Naruhaya outruns Isagi to the ball, which he then delivers to Barou for a score.

Naruhaya then informs him that they challenged them because they were aware of Isagi’s limitations as a lone scorer. Naruhaya moves past Isagi to the goal and shoots when Barou delivers the ball to him.

About Blue Lock

Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018. Blue Lock won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category in 2021.

The story begins with Japan’s elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which prompts the Japanese Football Union to start a program scouting high school players who will begin training in preparation for the 2022 Cup.

Isagi Youichi, a forward, receives an invitation to this program soon after his team loses the chance to go to Nationals because he passed to his less-skilled teammate.

Their coach will be Ego Jinpachi, who intends to “destroy Japanese loser football” by introducing a radical new training regimen: isolate 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called “Blue Lock”.
